Memorial Day weekend allowed me the time to crank out my Legions Imperialis starter box plus some extra rhinos. This is basically my 2000 point army. At 2K points though, I have to run a Reaver titan and not 2 Warhounds due to allies points percentage allowance!
Now it's time to finally paint this all up!
Legions Imperialis
I am currently working on my Adeptus Astartes force for LI. Aiming for 3000 points is not that easy when you're only on a teacher's salary. But I was lucky enough to score several Kratos tanks from a friend so now I have a legal & playable list. Right now I have about 1500 pts. - but I still need to assemble and paint!!!
Epic 40,000
Not too long ago, our gaming group was getting into Epic 40,000. As usual, I made a Dark Angels army. You can see it (unpainted at this point) in this picture.
Space Marine / Epic
I was a "late-comer" to Space Marine. My friends and I were spending all our money on regular 40K, so we never could afford epic scale stuff.
About 10 years ago, another friend of mine donated his vast horde of Epic Goodness to our local gaming group. I kept a lot of the space marine & titan stuff for myself. Others in our group got Squat, Orks, Tyranids, and IG armies as well. Pictured here is just the marine stuff that I kept...Yes, I actually gave a bunch away!!!

My friend was an avid Eldar Player...I just didn't have the heart to break up and give away his massive Eldar Horde (almost all painted of course!)
I told him that if he ever wanted it back - it's his in a heartbeat!
